Actually, there is one user with the same problem and we are trying to find a solution.
Maybe the problem with the default VLC options I am using..
Here's some thing you could try to diagnose the problem:
In the file "C:\Users[YOUR USER NAME]\AppData\Local\VrPlayer\VrPlayer.exe_Url_bdskikkk2e4shgvwtqjmd4r2snqznpyd\0.5.1.0\user.config" (Folder name might be slightly different), find the option key for vlc media plugin (if you search for the word "Options"
in the document, it should be easy) and replace current options with "-v --file-logging" and save the document. Relaunch VR Player.
If this work as expected, a console will popop with vlc debug informations when you will launch a video.
Please let me know if you see an obvious error in the console log.
