Can't get VRplayer to work...

Mar 28, 2014 at 4:50 PM
I posted in the Oculus forum but haven't gotten a response.

Am I the only one who can't get this program to work? I've looked for people complaining of similar problems but can't find anything.

When I open Vrplayer it immediately freezes and says, "VR player stopped working." If I try and open it again it doesn't do anything. It looks like it tries to open for a second but doesn't even make it as far as initially. I see nothing in task manager either.

I've tried reinstalling VR player and VLC. I've uninstalled VLC. I tried different installation locations. I've tried turning off SLI. Nothing seems to help. Any ideas? I'm using Win7.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

Hi thedreb,

Sorry about the delay, I have been super busy lately.

To help you, I will need the VR Player log file located in
"C:\Users[YOUR USER NAME]\AppData\Roaming\VrPlayer\Log.txt"
and the application crash log in the windows event log

Best regards,
